Sempre Oggi is looking for a Sous Chef to work closely with our Executive Chef, Phillip Basone. Sempre is an elevated, modern Italian restaurant. We work with the best ingredients to create a menu that changes everyday. This is a great opportuniy for someone who is passionate about ingredient driven Italian cuisine.QualificationsStrong command of the English language; outstanding writing and verbal skillsMinimum of 3+ years related experience working in a similar roleExcellent references required from both current and previous employersAbility to fully manage kitchen cleaning, stocking, serving, maintenance, etcStrong seasonal cooking skills; ability to replicate any dish/recipeExceptional organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize workPolished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmost discretion at all timesFlexibility in scheduling; willingness to work long hours and overtime if necessaryLegally able to work within United StatesAn emphasis on traditional, seasonal, and Italian cuisine is preferredOverseeing all elements of hospitality, food, and beverage service within therestaurant.Organizing and maintaining kitchen, ensuring pantry is stocked at all times; maintaining inventoryOversee line cooks with minimum time spent cooking on the line
